Alan spent the first 13 years of his career in Television broadcasting, starting at BBC News as a location camera operator. Over the years he has also worked at ITV, SKY and was one of the founders of Liverpool FC TV.
Alan launched out as a freelancer in 2013 before establishing VisualEyes in 2017 as a content creation agency focusing on film production and the emerging 3D capture technology, Matterport. He has since built a reputation as one of the country’s leading Matterport specialists, with expertise in capturing large spaces such as factories and showrooms and combining these with rich video content.
Alan has established VisualEyes as a leading content production company in the manufacturing sector with an impressive client list including Morley Glass, Emplas, Saint Gobain and FITShow.
Carl joins VisualEyes following four years at leading communications agency DRPG, where he worked as Executive Producer, managing an in-house team of six delivering visual content for luxury new home builder Redrow Homes. During this tenure the team delivered hundreds of pieces of film and thousands of photographic resources for web, social, reports, POS and live events.
This collaboration with Redrow resulted in the team picking up DRPG‘s Commercial Team of the Year in 2021 and three industry Lens Awards in January 2023*.
With over 20 years production experience, Carl also previously worked as Head of Production at BBC’s The Space, Head of Client Services at arts specialist digital agency, Made Media, and is owner of award-winning short film company Dark Matter Films. A natural storyteller, Carl’s passion is bringing client stories to life in engaging ways with a focus on generating action, connecting with audiences and delivering results.
